PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is looking for a Technical Writer for our client in Burnsville, MN.

 

Job Title: Technical Writer
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (12 months)
Location: Burnsville MN 55306 This job is hybrid; potential up to 80 onsite /20 offsite, Immediate need will be 100 onsite for first 2-3 months. 
Schedule:  Monday to Friday; First Shift 8AM-5PM
Pay Rate: $38.07 per hour

 

The Technical Writer will observe and document existing production processes, the majority of this work will be adding detail / improving existing documentation, around ~20 of the work will be focused on new documentation. All templates will be provided. Generally this role will be split between the production floor and the desk. This work will include proper formatting and ITAR compliance. The tech writer will initiate, populate and drive changes through our engineering management system (Teamcenter). The individual will not be expected to approve any documentation. There may be some print markups (only markups) included in this role.

 

Job Duties:

- Creation and release of technical build documentation. This will include formatting and release of procedures through our ERP system (teamcenter).

- All documentation will be generated in MS word, formatting will be provided.

 

Requirements:

-Associates degree

-Skills pertaining to technical writing and procedure observation / translation into written documents / images are a must.

-Assembly line work documentation is also preferred.



Pay Details: $38.07 per hour
