What are your contributions to the team?
- Responsible for the publishing and quality control of activities for Technical Publications data deliverables
- Prepare electronic files for reproduction, file management and digital data processing
- Coordinate with the writers, planners, distribution group and external printing companies
- Provide support to internal and external customers for publishing related issues
- Document processes and update existing procedures to improve workflow and accuracy
- Provide input to help identify ways to improve process flow and streamline data delivery.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a college technical degree in a relevant field.
- You have 2+ years of experience performing publishing tasks for a data production group using structured authoring environment
- You have experience troubleshooting data errors and identifying the root cause of these errors
- You are detail oriented and able to follow multiple processes to achieve the desired goal
- You have experience developing programs to improve data flow and reduce run time
- You have a strong knowledge of reading, comprehending and authoring documents
- You have a strong knowledge on how to read, validate, update, and create documents in XML
- You have experience with evaluating publishing processes and workflow to provide improvement recommendations
- You have strong communication skills with internal and external customers on data items regarding publishing matters
- You have strong ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced environment according to department schedules and commitments
- You are familiar with ATA standards (ATA100, iSpec2200, S1000D)
- You are bilingual (French and English)
