Tasks
The Inside Sales Representatives main tasks are:
- Enters transportation agreements with customers
- Processes bookings per guidelines
- Books standard/special products, ensuring profitability
- Provides quotations considering pricing rules and upselling
- Advises customers on transport solutions in coordination with sales/handling teams
- Manages accounts and easySales
- Oversees LTC bookings and allocation performance
- Arranges ex-works pick-ups
- Assists in acquiring new accounts and business
- Supports sales team in achieving revenue/tonnage goals
- Joins sales visits as needed
- Shares spanet insights with sales and management
- Handles charter requests with Network-on-Demand team
- Manages account data in CRM, updating stakeholders
- Promotes eChannel usage and follows up Spot Quotes
- Acts as customer touchpoint for claims/complaints, promoting eClaims
- Participates in local sales events
Requirements
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED is required
- 1-2 years cargo experience or equivalent
- Fluent written and spoken English and German language skills
- Industry knowledge (Airfreight, Logistics, Transportation, Sales) is required
- Advanced IT knowledge, preferably including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Part-time role with 20,5 hours per week
