Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years relevant experience in sales support, engineering, services, flight operations, marketing or completions. Aerospace experience preferred. Advanced degree may offset experience requirement by two years.

Position Purpose:

Under supervision, participate in all sales communications and development activities for Product Support Sales. Develop and communicate sales leads and opportunities, as well as provide electronic and print sales collateral to regional sales managers and sales leadership. Coordinate marketing activities for Product Support Sales by interacting closely with corporate marketing. Collaborate with internal support organizations as needed to support business needs and sales strategy.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  1. Under supervision, work to develop sales leads and opportunities as needed to support the Product Support Sales organization. Tailor all prospecting efforts (sales collateral, marketing campaigns, events, etc.) to support the sales strategy. Respond to all sales related web and print ad inquiries. Ensure a smooth transition of sales intelligence to regional sales managers and sales leadership.
  2. Provide assistance to regional sales managers and sales leadership as needed to support customer interactions both at Gulfstream and on the road to include sales visits, customer visits to Gulfstream facilities, flight demonstrations, static displays, events, etc.
  3. Develop an understanding of sales territories and market trends. Build working relationships across the Product Support network. Participate in research on potential customers, industries and market segments to identify and support potential sales opportunities for the division. .
  4. Coordinate activities between Product Support Sales and corporate marketing departments to support the business needs and sales strategy of the division. Provide input and assistance on the planning and execution of tailored marketing campaigns, events, air shows, advertising, etc. to support sales strategies and initiatives.
  5. Collaborate with internal support organizations (contracts, finance, product support, completion sales, flight operations, etc.) to coordinate support, answer questions and resolve issues to support the business needs of the assigned sales division.
  6. Track and maintain sales metrics to support the business needs for the organization such as capture rates, leads and opportunities conversions, deliverables to plan, etc. Provide reports to sales management.
  7. Working with external sales personnel and internal Quoting department, determine market pricing for new Gulfstream offerings in an effort to establish product pricing and new sales incentive pricing.

Other Requirements:

  1. Working knowledge of airplane operations, regulations, performance and the high-end business jet industry.
  2. Good understanding of sales/marketing.
  3. Must have proficient computer skills to utilize customer databases including Microsoft Office suite.
