Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 6 years experience in automotive repair and general maintenance of fleet vehicles. Experience operating and hauling equipment that requires a Class A drivers license. Valid Drivers License required. Other Commercial Drivers license- Class A required.

Position Purpose:

Oversee and manage the fleet maintenance and vehicle lease program for the Global Property Organization. Develop a replacement strategy for all fleet that is in alignment with Gulfstream's fleet leasing program. Develop standards each year for new model vehicles to maintain Gulfstream's branding image and requirements. Develop vehicle standards for Gulfstream's FAST program to ensure all vehicle specifications meet the requirements of operations. Establish vehicle maintenance program for all sites to ensure fleet is being maintained to leasing requirements. Ensure all vehicles and trailers meet the DOT compliance program and that all inspections and services are maintained in the CMMS system.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for the routine maintenance of all vehicles and trailers within any facility and for ensuring preventive maintenance program is established for each vehicle and trailer within the CMMS System .
  2. Coordinate routine inspections and services required. to meet DOT compliance for all vehicles and trailers that are considered a part of the DOT compliance program .
  3. Communicate to all sites any service or inspection criteria changes required. for the fleet and update CMMS System to reflect all changes .
  4. Responsible for the Fuel Management Program to include all key card activations and reporting required. of fuel management system .
  5. Develop annualized vehicle replacement strategy for the sites to include comprehensive justification for replacement .
  6. Responsible for the administration of the Gulfstream commercial motor vehicle drivers program and the quality of documents sent to the Drivers record management company .
  7. Add new driver information and obtain records required. for DOT Compliance Program .
  8. Perform Annual review of all DOT driver records to ensure quality and updated information is up to date in driver record management .
  9. Assist in the transportation and movement of equipment across the Savannah campus for GSE and tooling as required. to support operational needs .
  10. Monitor all DOT compliance requirement changes and communicate across sites as needed with any applicable changes .
  11. Administer service contracts to ensure that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards .
  12. Complete all Motor Carrier reports needed to maintain compliance for each US DOT number assigned to Gulfstream .
  13. Develop and provide routine reporting that assist in the overall management of the Gulfstream Vehicle/DOT/CMW program .

Additional Functions:

  1. Develop all outside vendor contracts and services required. to efficiently perform maintenance and inspections on the overall Gulfstream Fleet .
  2. Ensure all vehicle accident repairs are serviced in accordance with Gulfstreams insurance requirements .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

  1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with all aspects of facilities.
  2. Strong knowledge of maintenance operations of advanced equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  4. Considerable knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and IBM (Maximo).
