Vac Blasters – Immediate Starts Available

Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth

Are you an experienced Vac Blaster looking for your next long-term opportunity?

We have immediate starts available for SC Cleared Vac Blasters with TTP Silver or Gold (or iCATS equivalent) to join a major marine engineering project at Devonport Dockyard.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work, fantastic hourly rates, regular overtime and the potential to secure a permanent position.

You will be carrying out vacuum blasting on a variety of marine structures, preparing surfaces ready for protective coatings and primers. Vacuum blasting uses specialist equipment that removes existing coatings while simultaneously extracting dust and debris, creating a cleaner and safer working environment.

The majority of your working week will be spent carrying out blasting activities, with the remaining time supporting associated surface preparation and painting tasks where required.

• Current SC Clearance
• TTP Silver or Gold qualification (or iCATS equivalent)
• Proven industrial blasting experience
• Experience using vacuum blasting equipment
• Ability to work safely in a heavy industrial or marine environment
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety

• Standard: 22.00 per hour
• Overtime 1: 28.60 per hour
• Overtime 2: 35.20 per hour

Silver

• Standard: 16.77
• Overtime 1: 21.80
• Overtime 2: 26.83

Gold

• Standard: 17.40
• Overtime 1: 22.62
• Overtime 2: 27.84

Monday to Friday

• 07:30 – 16:00

• Monday to Friday: 16:00 – 24:00
• Saturday: 07:30 – 16:00

• Monday to Friday: 24:00 – 08:00
• Sunday: 07:30 – 16:00
