Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Technical Trainer II to support an enterprise-wide training initiative.

Location: Mostly remote; some onsite is required in Shalimar, Florida.
Duration: 6-12 months, with possible conversion after 12 months
Term: W2 position

Position summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer II to support an enterprisewide initiative focused on Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) systems used to track aviation assets and components.
This role will design, develop, and deliver advanced training content for a large internal audience of approximately 6,000 employees.
The ideal candidate excels at simplifying complex technical workflows, communicating with clarity, and creating visually compelling training materials.
A background in aviation, aerospace, MRO software, or graphic design is highly beneficial.
This position requires occasional onsite work in Shalimar, FL, with the majority of responsibilities performed remotely.

Key responsibilities:

Develop, design, and implement advanced technical training materials with a focus on aviation MRO processes and enterprise maintenance systems.
Deliver engaging training sessions both remotely and onsite for large, diverse internal user groups.
Collaborate with product management, engineering teams, and program managers to ensure accuracy and alignment of training content.
Build visually polished learning materials, job aids, system walkthroughs, and presentation assets (graphic design skills helpful).
Gather participant feedback and implement continuous improvements to enhance training effectiveness.
Develop and maintain evaluation criteria to measure training outcomes and adoption.
Ensure training content remains current with changes in MRO tools, aviation workflows, and system enhancements.
Support administration, organization, and content management within Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Required education and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Education, Human Resources, or a related area.
2+ years of experience in technical training or related instructional roles.
OR 6+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
Higher-level relevant degrees may be considered in place of required experience.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Proficiency with LMS platforms and eLearning development tools.
Experience supporting and addressing technical training objectives for end users.
Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; this is a highcommunication role.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and critical thinking.
Ability to function effectively in a fastpaced, highchange environment.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in aviation, aerospace, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) environments.
Familiarity with MRO software/tools (e.g., TRAX, AMOS, Ramco, or similar).
Experience supporting large enterprise training rollouts (5,000+ users).
Professional certifications such as CPLP, ATD, or CTT+.
Proficiency with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or other training development tools.
Graphic design or multimedia content development experience.
