Tech Ops Business Coordinator overview:
The Tech Ops Business Coordinator will support Sun Country Technical Operations leadership and management teams by coordinating events, travel, and meetings with internal / external stakeholders. In addition, the role requires organization, facilitation, and updating certain departmental action plans, seeking input from key leaders and compiling for presentation. In some instances, data analysis and presentation creation will be required. Executive presence, ability to learn company specific systems, and comprehension of travel policies will be essential.
Essential roles and responsibilities of a Tech Ops Business Coordinator:

- Monitors / manages schedules of departmental leaders to avoid conflicts
- Coordinates schedules with external clients / customers to ensure proper attendance and preparation
- Consolidates data and compiles reports at established cadence
- Facilitates status / update meetings for larger audience as assigned
- Creates travel schedules for technical staff (during office hours) and management
- Generates and distributes employee committee and meeting notes
- Assists in planning for company-based events (employee recognition / celebration)
- Communicate with management and operations team to ensure compliance with company standards
- Provides analytical support for special projects as assigned
- Maintains office / infrastructure layout and design plans for department
- Other duties assigned by Tech Ops Sr Leadership
Classification: Full-time, Non-exempt
Working Location: This position is open in Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, Monday-Friday onsite
Supervisory Responsibility: None
The qualifications we are looking for in a Tech Ops Business Coordinator include:
- Ability to organize and analyze data in a structured manner
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities/tasks
- Strong communication skills including verbal presentation and written communication
- Excellent PC skills with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience
- Ability to learn company specific travel, data, and policy systems
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelors degree
- Microsoft Project (or other project management program)
- Microsoft Visio
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
