Organization Fueling Services
Create employee competence and confidence to support safe operations. The Station Trainer is responsible for training in accordance with Swissport SOP; making sure customer service standards are met to support the way forward for NOAM and training
This role will reside in a matrixed organization receiving day to day functional direction from the General Manager in addition to training resource direction by the Regional Training
Managers.
The expected pay rate is $27.00 - 32.00 /hr . Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Job Responsibilities
• Partner with Regional Training Manager and HR team to plan for new hire and recurrent training needs
• Deliver initial & recurrent training in accordance with global and local standards.
• Serve as a training generalist for Fuel Farm Maintenance & Operations and Dept of Transportation lines of business
• Serve as a training specialist for designated functional I technical training Monitors training compliance
• Partners with Regional Training Manager and operations to schedule recurrent training for all employees.
• Partners with Regional Training Manager and operations to coordinate release of new hires to coaches for a smooth transition to join the operation
• Coordinates hire and recurrent practical assessment process.
• Maintain electronic (lntelex) and paper, training files/records of all employees with compliance to airport authority rules and regulation.
• Prepare and distribute training aids such as instructional material, hand-outs, evaluation forms, and visual aids; sets up audio-visual equipment
• Support internal and external audit process
• Collaborate with Design and Develop team to establish or enhance training programs as per standards
• Prepare examinations and progress reports for initial and recurrent training programs
• Monitor and evaluate performance of all employees
• Knowledge and understanding of the current collective agreement
• Conduct airport training as appropriate
• Performs related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies
• High School Diploma
• Minimum of three years Airport Ramp, Cargo Warehouse and/ or Fueling operational experience as pertains to the role
• Minimum 1 year classroom instruction experience or 3 years On the Job (OJT/C) training or coaching experience
• Ability to manage by influence and not authority
• Be able to pass security clearance (criminal background check)
• Possess a valid drivers license
• Experience in leveraging strong communication skills to influence without authority to achieve a common goal.
• Computer systems: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Teams) and graphic programs are a must.
