Position Summary:
Level one shipping/receiving clerks work under direct supervision to complete basic shipping and receiving tasks. All shipping and rec. clerks will be forklift certified and will be expected to demonstrate computer skills. Typically, 1 year of experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Count and bag the parts that are delivered to the shipping department.
- Use the computer system to generate the shipments
- Pull inventory based on the customer order; count, bag, and box them.
- Use protective packaging for preventing damage during transport as well as individually bagging, boxing, taping, weighing, counting and placing on pallets for shipping.
- Receive in goods, verifying paperwork and documents. Re-bag and tag products to put into inventory as well as.
- Use Shipping services such as UPS and Fed Ex to prepare shipments.
- Attach documents and labels to boxes for shipments
- Assist in loading or unloading product as needed.
- Assist in other departments/areas as needed.

Required Experience
- A minimum of at least 1 year experience in industry or related field.
Level of Education

Pay
- Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, certifications, and performance. Shipping/Receiving – Level 1 $17.00 - $19.00
