Key Responsibilities:
RPA Developer designs and develops new processes and enhancements using core workflow principles within the RPA technology.
Analyse new process automation candidates, quickly assessing the feasibility and accurately estimate development effort.
Apply RPA workflow design best practices when developing or maintaining workflows
Apply agile practices and principles to maximise business value and continuously improve the delivery of the right customer outcomes.
Review workflows developed by other RPA Developers to ensure compliance with internal control/security / audit requirements
Provide maintenance to production workflows by ensuring second level support for workflow incidents; investigate reported errors, agree on error severity and propose resolution.
For workflow support tasks, respect SLAs agreed with business for workflow downtime.
Report issues to third level support (RPA vendor) if incidents cannot be solved by the internal team; ensure development fix, unit testing, and production deployment preparation.
Configure enhancements /change requests to already automated processes.
Work within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the RPA manager accordingly.
Work collaboratively with Business Analysts and Product Owners during test phases and UAT to test, debug and overcome issues.
Skills Required:
Minimum Bachelors Degree in IT/ Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science & Technology or relevant qualification focusing on programming or application development.
Minimum intermediate knowledge of Python and SQL. • Qualification in process improvement and process analysis i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma is an added advantage.
Experience and knowledge in RPA tools such as UIPath.
Project and change management experience, preferably involving IT implementations and UAT management.
Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Business ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people.
A good team player collaborates well in cross-functional teams.
