Role Overview:
1. Perform on-site Propeller systems maintenance inclusive of repairs, modification, installation and preventative maintenance.
2. Provide technical instruction and assistance to customers within the parameters of formal technical documents.
3. Provide ‘Hands-On’ technical assistance to GE manufacturing and repair facilities to support output requirements.
4. Maintain knowledge of applicable product line and aftermarket contractual obligations.
5. Perform administrative functions, such as; writing technical reports, ordering materials, supporting quotations and capturing sales and cost avoidance opportunities.
6. Develop and maintain knowledge of, and adhere to, the Site Quality, Safety Management and EH&S policies and other compliance requirements. Bring forward for resolution any identified risks utilising provided systems.
7. Maintain strong International Trade compliance regulations aligned to GE requirements.
8. Provide customer insight / intelligence as necessary.
9. Provide all customers (internal and external) timely and accurate responses to queries covering all relevant GE Systems products.
Required Qualifications:
1. Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Mechanical or equivalent.
2. Must be an Australian Citizen, to meet Defence security requirements, and may be required to hold and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
3. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability train people and prepare technical reports.
4. A commitment to a healthy, safe, and compliant work environment.
5. All candidates for this role are engaged in Safety Sensitive Aviation Activities(SSAAs) and may be subjected to approved testing in support of GE Aerospace’s CASA approved Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP).
