What does this role look like?



The qualified individual will be responsible for coordinating with multiple teams within the larger Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program to execute various Avionics processes, mainly as integrator of the Electrical Support equipment (EGSE) process. This individual will also serve multiple baseline control functions, such as the Risk and Opportunity Management Board (ROMB), Sustainment Engineering, FAIT, FAST, Vrics Qnotes and various Control Boards. This individual will also be responsible for consolidating directorate metrics for various program reviews which will be presented to senior leadership.

This role provides opportunities for collaboration with a multitude teams within the FBM program, all relying on Avionics to provide solutions and support to help meet and exceed mission objectives. This individual will also have the opportunity to use critical thinking in order to drive improvements in current processes that will create positive impacts to our mission success. This position will also have the ability to gain insight into various business processes that are critical to program support, such as proposals, contract execution and building relationships with our mission partners.

As a Program Integration Support project engineer, you will report to the Avionics Sustainment Senior Program Manager and lead the integration between the programmatic/business side of the program LE program.

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility, in one of the Coolest places to work: Titusville, FL (Space City, USA), and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
• 2 years of professional experience
• Experience in working on multiple tasks concurrently
• Experience with consolidating metrics for program review
• Experience coordinating and directly meetings with multiple teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, and obtain a Top Secret Clearance to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Excellent organizational skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
