Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to provide electrical installation and maintenance services at various research test facilities. The role involves working from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the potential for future training to obtain a qualified operator status within a test facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical installation and maintenance services across a range of research test facilities operating at various voltages.
- Work from detailed electrical schematics and prints to perform tasks.
- Bend electrical conduit and pull large and small gauge wiring.
- Install and modify electrical panels, raceways, enclosures, motor-driven equipment, motor meggering, lighting systems, and other electrical hardware and devices.

Work Environment
The work takes place at the NASA Glenn Research Center within the Test Facilities Operation, Maintenance, and Engineering (TFOME) team. The role requires flexibility during testing periods, which occur 4 to 6 times per year, with off-shift work including second and third shifts. Employees will be notified in advance of testing schedules, and shift differentials apply.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.12 - $36.12/hr.
