Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

• Meet with FAL (Final Assembly Line) Quality and Measurement specialists to understand current way of working

• Meet with FAL Manufacturing to understand current way of working to make sure about the Gap/steps in Cabin

• Literature Survey around different methods of measurement techniques available to such measurements while assembly.

• Theoretical comparison of different methods found out in relation to cost, time, accuracy, limitation and others as needed

• Propose a pragmatic measurement technique which allow “measurement assisted assemblies” along a defined usecase

Desired skills and qualifications

• Enrolled full-time student in the area of advanced measurement techniques, Metrology or an equivalent field of study.

• First practical experience in the field of Computer based measurement  and/or Laser measurement technology is desirable.

• Fluent in German and English.

• Modern Automation & Robotics

• Computer based measurement and application
