Roles and Responsibilities
Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards.
Collaborate into a teamwork atmosphere to organize, plan and successfully execute actions under tight schedules.
Learn and use Lean principles to provide solutions to current process challenges.
Collect, understand and analyze data from the assigned projects to solve.
Be able to organize, plan and mitigate scope and milestones issues.
Capable to plan, design and execute actions with minimal supervision to achieve project’s scope
Support the solution of problems of limited scope and complexity
Be able to identify risks and concerns and communicate them timely to key stakeholders
Create, support, and invent creative solutions using programming languages to minimize non-value activities and improve to efficient processes.
Provide well documented information for the improvements developed, in pro of the long-term sustainment of the solutions provided.
Present weekly progress updates on the milestones established and a final project presentation.
Qualification / Requirements
Students of Computer Science Engineering, or other related
Solid team player with strong interpersonal skills
Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
English skills: must be able to maintain conversations with native English speakers.
Presentation skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
Experience using MS Excel® intermediate level, advanced is a plus
Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, SQL, VBA
Demonstrate abilities to plan, manage and execute project tasks in your current college assignments
Be able to identify problems, communicate and react proactively to provide solutions
Analytical, able to quickly understand complex processes and demonstrate investigation skills
Hunger for learning
Availability to work 40 hours per week during the entire event
In-person work is required at GEIQ office in the city of Queretaro, Mexico
