The Position:

The Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer (CRM) is responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting ServiceNow CRM/CPQ solutions. This role focuses on implementing workflows, integrations, and enhancements to meet business requirements. The developer will work closely with senior team members and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions and ensure platform stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize ServiceNow CRM/CPQ modules (Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Quotes).

  • Develop and maintain CRM workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.

  • Assist in integrating ServiceNow CRM with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.

  • Perform data imports and updates for CRM entities using transform maps and import sets.

  • Create and maintain CRM dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with QA and business teams during testing and deployment phases.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve CRM-related issues in a timely manner.

  • Document technical configurations and maintain version control using update sets.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and backlog refinement.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow CRM/CPQ configuration and customization.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).

  • Experience with ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI policies.

  • Basic knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and IntegrationHub.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow reporting and dashboard creation.

  • Understanding of ACLs and role-based access controls.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Approximately 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in ServiceNow development.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.

  • Experience with CRM or CPQ modules is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Expertise in ServiceNow, including development on the Now Platform, custom application development, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow APIs, integrations (REST/SOAP), and data migration.
  • Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or other key ServiceNow modules.
  • Proficiency in DevOps and CI/CD practices, using tools such as Jenkins/GitLab, Git/GitHub, and Artifactory, including automated deployments through ServiceNow DevOps or related pipelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, performance optimization, update set management, and platform best practices.
  • Experience with automated and regression testing, including the use of ATF (Automated Test Framework) and defect tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD), the Software Development Life Cycle, and coding best practices.
  • Ability to adapt communication for effectiveness with business partners and technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of organizational goals, data privacy laws, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related technical field, or 9+ years of experience in IT enterprise software development in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with a focus on ServiceNow or equivalent platform experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) required; Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ITSM/ITOM certifications preferred.
  • Nearly 100 sitting and typing.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required (up to 5).
