Looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with room to grow? We are hiring a Heat Treat Operator to assist with furnace operations and heat treat processes for titanium, stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, and alloy steels. This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing or production experience who wants to build skills in metal processing. Shift avalibility is 1st and 2nd with a payrate of $24.23 an hr.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with heat treat applications for various metals
Load and unload furnaces and place workpieces into heating furnaces
Assist with operating and maintaining furnace controllers
Straighten metal plates, weldments, and structural shapes or preheat materials
Grind and prepare parts for processing
Learn to perform hardness inspections and read ASTM conversion tables
Move parts on and off pallets
Read and follow shop orders and work instructions
Maintain a safe and organized work area
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
6–12 months of manufacturing or production experience preferred
Ability to read instructions and follow procedures
Basic math skills

Pay Details: $24.23 per hour
