1. Strategic Growth and Planning
- Develop and execute a robust business development strategy aligned with the company vision and goals.
- Identify new business opportunities, spanets, and client segments to drive growth.
2. Partnership Development and Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with corporations, governments, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve long-term collaboration.
3. Revenue and Market Expansion
- Set and achieve revenue targets through new client acquisition and existing client growth.
4. Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing business development team.
- Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and provide coaching to achieve objectives.
5. Project Delivery
- Collaborate with internal (customer success, spaneting, tech, brand and content) to ensure the project is delivered smoothly with the expected outcome.
- Monitoring and making sure all B2B/B2G projects are implemented as per timeline and quality.
6. Market Research and Insights
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Use insights to refine the company offerings and value proposition.
7. Finances
- Develop, manage, and oversee the business development budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Work collaboratively with finance and executive teams to ensure collections are timely.
