Full-stack/Back-end Developer

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Full-stack/Back-end Developer for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry, one of the largest employers of IT professionals in the state.

Work location: Partial onsite (Tues., Wed., Thurs. and as needed); WFH Mon. & Fri.
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 contract
Candidate location: Local preferred

Project summary:

We are seeking to fill a number of roles in a modernization initiative, seeking mid- to senior-level developers and engineers who can build modern distributed applications while integrating with legacy mainframe systems.
Ideal candidates will have experience with distributed technologies.
Candidates who have an interest in leveraging modern technology skills while learning and working with mainframe systems are a plus.

Minimum required work experience:

4 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 8 years without a degree)
