The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:
RTX Global Real Estate Services has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance and Reliability Technician at Love Field, Dallas Tx.
The position focus will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair all infrastructure systems including HVAC, Chilled Water Distribution, pumps, motors, and frontend Building automation controls.
In this role you need to be willing and able to back-up our Plant Operations as business and team needs arise. This role also requires the ability to occasionally work overtime/ nights or weekends to support the team if business, schedule, or emergency situations arise including providing support to other local sites when needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- This role typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree 8 years of relevant experience, and/or relevant certifications may be considered.
- At least 6 years’ experience in HVAC and Building Automation Controls and thorough understanding of refrigeration cycle
- At least 6 years’ experience maintaining and repairing pumps, motors, valve and actuator operation
- At least 6 years’ experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and complex schematics
- At least 6 years’ experience working with building and office technology to include Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as common office technology including MS office suite of software and other Web based tools.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Journeyman license in a relevant field
- Expertise in Electrical, VFDs and motor controls
- Prior experience leading and/or team members
- PLC controls troubleshooting
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards for safe work practice, hazard assessment and mitigation
- Customer Focused with strong oral/ written Communication skills

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 70,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
