Location Profile:

Headquartered in Irvine, CA, Shur-Lok manufactures fastening systems with superior locking devices for critical requirements including engine module assembly, structural assembly, rotor blade attachment, and aircraft engine shaft and spindle applications. Operations at the Irvine location include CNC Machining, CNC Waterjet Cutting, Laser Marking, Heat Treating, NDT, and EDM.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Provide support for facility-related projects and renovations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
  • Perform general cleaning and upkeep of facilities.
  • Ensure that all maintenance tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Assist with emergency repairs and respond to urgent maintenance requests.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient facility operations.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Must possess effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance worker or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (35 lbs.)
  • Valid driver&39;s license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
  • Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing) is a plus.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of work.

Level of Education:

  • GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21 to $31.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
