The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Digital Content and Social Media Strategist to join the team in Seattle, WA or North Charleston, SC.
The Strategist will be a member of Boeing’s global social media team and responsible for developing and executing social media strategy, content and performance measurement across specific assigned business units. This role partners with communications leads and internal stakeholders to drive audience engagement, support campaigns and events, and produce high‑quality digital content tailored to Boeing’s audience. It is responsible for managing content across the Boeing in Washington, Boeing South Carolina Facebook and X channels as well as content for Boeing Global Engagement, Finance and Government Operations. The position may also include as-needed social support for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA).
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and execute social media strategy and channel plans aligned with business and communications objectives
Plan, create, shoot and edit original multimedia content (photo and video) for social platforms; edit video using Adobe Premiere and produce social‑ready visuals using basic graphic design tools
Publish and optimize content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and additional relevant platforms), ensuring brand consistency and platform‑appropriate tone. Use social planning and collaboration tools to coordinate content calendars and approvals across teams
Monitor social conversations and audience activity; identify engagement and amplification opportunities; coordinate timely, approved responses with communications partners
Support communications events as needed — including on‑the‑ground content capture, live coverage and internal stakeholder coordination
Track, analyze and report on social performance using analytics tools; translate insights into recommendations to optimize content and campaign outcomes
Contribute to team best practices, playbooks and process improvements; collaborate with global social team to share learnings and implement standardized approaches
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience developing strategic communications including leader messages, internal stories, web and social media content
Experience with content creation, including creating and editing copy, images and video
Experience in graphic design and content development
Experience with multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, LinkedIn
Experience analyzing social media data and analytics to aid decision-making
Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast paced product development environments

Summary pay range: $87,550 - $126,500
