JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS A:

Team Lead, Group Desk. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the group desk operations, mentor team members, and ensure seamless coordination of group bookings and inquiries.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Manage Inbound Email Inquiries: Respond promptly and professionally to all inbound email inquiries, providing accurate information and assistance.

  • Handle Add-On Requests: Manage requests for additional services such as baggage, seats, meals, and sports equipment.

  • Special Recovery Option (SRO): Process requests related to refunds, flight changes, and credit account creation.

  • Name List Upload: Ensure accurate and timely upload of passenger name lists for group bookings.

  • Flight Changes: Coordinate and process customer requests for flight changes.

  • Name Changes/Amendments: Handle requests for name changes or amendments on bookings.

  • Seat Release, Cancellation, and Special Requests: Process seat releases, cancellations, and handle special requests to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Manage Booking Creation: Create bookings based on valid Flight Requests (FR) received from agents or customers.

  • Submit Fare Override Requests: Submit fare override requests to RRC and follow up on their status.

  • Submit Booking Confirmations: Confirm bookings and communicate details to agents.

  • Update Group Desk Audit Report: Maintain and update the group desk audit report regularly to ensure accuracy.

  • Manage Payment Collection: Oversee the collection of payments including Booking Service Fees (BSF), deposits, and full payments.

  • Email Payment Reminders: Send timely payment reminders to agents to ensure payments are received on time.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing requests.

  • Proficiency in handling booking systems and related software.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

  • Experience in managing payment processes and collections.

  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.

  • Knowledge of sales and distribution processes is a plus.
