The Captain, ATR, will report to the Fleet Manager, ATR. The incumbent is responsible for the safe operation of the ATR aircraft in accordance with the Company’s Operating Manuals and for effecting all reasonably possible economies on each flight to which he/she is assigned. Your engagement with the Airline will be for a fixed term, on a contract basis.
CONTRACT CAPTAIN ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have a valid and current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by TTCAA (or an ICAO contracting state), including a valid Medical, a valid Proficiency Check and an English proficiency endorsement.
- You must have a minimum of 3000 hrs. to include 1000 hrs. P1/P1 U/S, which must be on a multi-engine, multi-crew turboprop or Jet aircraft;
- Your flight times must be verified by the endorsement of your Pilot Personal Logbook and validated by the state of issue of the License or the previous Operator.
- A degree in Airline/Airport Management, Aerospace Technology or Aeronautical Science would be an asset;
- You must have a valid Instrument Rating;
- You must successfully complete a Caribbean Airlines Medical Examination;
- You must obtain a satisfactory assessment by the Caribbean Airlines pilot selection board to include English fluency as a requirement for ATC;
- You must successfully complete a Security background check;
- You must successfully complete the Company’s training and Proficiency Checks; and
- You must obtain a valid medical assessment in accordance with the requirements of the TTCAA. Such assessments shall not be valid for more than twelve (12) months;

- Evidence that you are the holder of a current TTCAA or ECCAA-issued Airline Transport Pilot’s License OR a current Airline Transport Pilots License issued by FAA or another Aviation Authority (any aircraft type);
- Evidence of your last recurrent check which must not exceed six months;
- Photograph of the last page of your Pilot Logbook with endorsement;
- Photograph of the Bio Page of your Passport;
- Attachment of your full resume of total flight times, previous employers and education.
You must have a strong customer service orientation, work independently within clearly defined guidelines and standard operating procedures, and have excellent communication, risk management and problem-solving skills.
