Job Summary:
The Assistant General Counsel - Corporate will play a crucial role in supporting the General Counsel with a primary focus on leading the Legal Contracting Group for PHI Health, LLC and for providing support on other areas of general corporate law as requested by the General Counsel, including, Human Resources advice, General Healthcare and HIPPA compliance matters, corporate litigation and other general corporate and compliance matters. This position requires a proactive and organized leader with excellent legal acumen and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead the legal contracting group for PHI Health, LLC, including (1) the drafting, negotiation and oversight of a wide-variety of corporate contracts, (2) establishment and oversight of PHIs contract management system, (3) development and oversight of legal templates and standard terms, and (4) management of outside corporate counsel.
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on general corporate matters, including HR, healthcare and HIPPA, corporate litigation and other general corporate and compliance matters.
- Ensure company compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Support the General Counsel in department management and administration.
- Create and maintain summaries of key contracts, key terms, and KPIs.
- Conduct legal research on legal issues as requested by the General Counsel and stay updated on relevant legal developments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the provision of high-quality and timely legal support.
- Assist in the resolution of contract and other business disputes and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Counsel.

- Onsite role located in either Phoenix, AZ or Ft Worth, TX
The successful candidate will have:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law
- 3-10 years experience in corporate law, preferably in a corporate or in-house setting.
- Strong foundational understanding of contract law and principles
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communications skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable maturity, professionalism, and gravitas.
- Able to adapt to changing conditions, and to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they arise.
- Understanding of personalities and behavioral styles in order to work collaboratively with a variety of people and to make informed decision around resourcing, reporting structures and relationships.
- Familiarity with HIPPA and/or healthcare law, aviation law, and employment law is a plus.
- This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
