Job Description
The primary role involves constructing aircraft structure parts by laying-up resin-infused carbon fiber in a precise sequence before processing them in an autoclave. This task is performed according to detailed engineering drawings and company specifications.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints, and work orders.
- Document materials used in the process to maintain traceability, including tracking the out times of cold-stored materials.
- Build structural components using vacuum bagging with resin systems and carbon fiber reinforcements.
- Identify and communicate any defects in tooling accurately.
- Meet takt times while maintaining the required level of quality.
- Safely handle various regulated materials used in the process.
- Handle raw materials and manufactured parts carefully to ensure integrity and quality are maintained.
- Maintain the confidentiality of company products.
- Adapt to changing business conditions and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Completion of an introductory period for internal applicants.
- Ability to operate and comprehend data using Windows Operating System®, MRP M3, Royal 5, and SmarTeam.
- Ability to read and follow engineering blueprints.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for successful job performance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in production, machine operation, general labor, assembly, inspection, blueprint reading, and hand tool usage is beneficial.

Work Environment
The work environment does not require personal protective equipment or medical monitoring. Employment can be part-time, full-time, or temporary, with minor travel and possible relocation to another facility. Work hours may be irregular or extended as necessary.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
