Job Summary:

Youll be able to hone your technical abilities through performing fabrication work for Aeronautical Accessories manufacturing department.

What youll be doing as a Fabricator:

• Perform basic window and plastic fabrication under supervision.
• Ensure proper part identification and/or record S/N for plastics and windows manufactured with assistance.
• Assist with 1st piece inspection and completion of work orders.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills You Bring To This Role:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with basic measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Ability to learn and apply measurements, torque, and adhesive applications.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing fabrication tasks.
• Ability to walk, bend, reach, and stoop as needed throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to approximately 25-35 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to handle small components, tools, adhesives, and measuring devices.
• Ability to visually inspect parts and read detailed technical drawings and work orders.
• Ability to safely operate basic fabrication tools and equipment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, as required.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to noise, dust, or chemicals consistent with plastics and window fabrication.
