You will report directly to our Senior Director of Tax Operations and you will work out of our Mississauga, Ontario location on a 3/2 work schedule.
The role is cross functional, with Tax opportunities in driving strategies, maximizing cash planning attributes, consulting, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations in both direct and indirect taxes. In this role you will help minimize the companys tax liabilities and mitigate any potential risks. Additionally, your ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals will enable informed decision-making across the company. As a partner to tax and other organizations at Honeywell Aerospace you will play a critical role in developing and supporting our employees to help them perform at their best and drive change and efficiencies across the company.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive tax strategies to minimize cash tax by maximizing the Research and Development credit and other Canadian tax opportunities
- Develop Annual Operating Plan (AOP) effective tax rate and monitor and report current year impacts that may change quarterly and annual results
- Lead inputs that support amounts and timing of cash tax payments
- Lead balance sheet inputs related to Current and Deferred income tax balances
- Support the filing of various corporate tax returns with external advisors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws.
- Stay current with changes in tax legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on the companys tax position.
- Collaborate with both the Honeywell Aerospace Tax Department and external tax advisors to address, design, or support specific tax issues.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance
The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000-150,000 in Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as spanet and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in tax management
- Bachelors degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or related field
