As a Student in Risk Management, you will support the day‑to‑day activities of NAV CANADA’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. You’ll help gather, analyze, and organize information to support risk assessments, reporting, and decision‑making across the organization. This role is ideal for students interested in business, analytics, governance, or operational risk who want hands‑on experience in a real corporate environment.
You’ll work closely with team members across operations, technology, safety, cybersecurity, finance, and strategy to help maintain risk registers, develop insights, support workshops, and contribute to materials used by senior executives.Job Description

In this role you will:
Assist with preparing materials for risk workshops, stakeholder meetings and risk reports.
Help collect and organize data for risk registers, key risk indicators (KRIs), and action plans.
Support the ERM team in monitoring and updating risk information.
Contribute to Power BI dashboards and improve data accuracy.
Help draft summaries, visuals, and reports for leadership.
Conduct background research on risk topics, trends, and best practices.
Provide administrative and coordination support for quarterly and annual reporting cycles.
What you bring:
Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, or related field.
Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills.
Comfort working with data (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is an asset).
Ability to communicate clearly—both in writing and verbally.
Interest in risk management, risk communication, governance, or organizational strategy.
Curiosity, willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail.
