Role Overview:
As the Strother Site Quality Leader, you will provide strategic and technical leadership to drive a Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality across shop operations. This full-time, on-site role involves leading the quality organization at Strother, partnering with Plant Leadership, Product Support Engineering, and the Global MRO organization to drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Own Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality for shop operations.
Collaborate with Plant Leadership and Staff on Breakthrough Objectives and Top-Level Improvement Priorities for the site.
Champion FLIGHT DECK in Quality operations, providing subject matter expertise on methods and problem-solving tools.
Partner with customer teams and directly with customers on quality improvement to enhance the customer experience.
Drive advanced quality tool maturation in shop operations.
Lead a team of quality professionals, coaching and mentoring them on an ongoing basis.
Assure performance to Key Performance Indicators in customer-delivered and in-process quality.
Maintain strong regulatory compliance for P145 repair station.
Champion the local Safety Management System and partner horizontally across the network to strengthen standardization of global SMS processes.
Drive and maintain regulatory and operator approvals in partnership with engine programs and overall network strategy.

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical degree/license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation or adjacent industry.
- Knowledge of FAA FAR 145 procedures or equivalent required.
- Qualified auditor or demonstrated auditing experience required.
- 5+ years of MRO experience is essential; engine test knowledge is beneficial to this role long term.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams through investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
