As a Sr Community Relations Manager here at Honeywell, you will be a key leader responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships between your organization and the communities it serves. Your role goes beyond engagement; its about creating a lasting, positive impact. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including employees, residents, businesses, government agencies, and community organizations.
You will report directly to our Talent Engagement Leader and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive community outreach strategies and initiatives to align with the Aerospace organizations goals, significantly enhance its reputation and social impact and engage employees and business leadership.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design community outreach strategy to achieve business objectives and strengthen community leadership.
- Identify and lead community investment programs and community partnerships with a focus on STEM-based initiatives.
- Build and manage relationships with community organizations, non-profits, and government agencies.
- Drive internal volunteering program and employee giving activities through campaigning, champions network and digital platform management.
- Planning and execution of community engagement events.
- Track and measure community activity and outcomes to determine impact and strategies for future investment
- Oversee budget development and management to ensure compliance
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6+ years of experience in community relations or a related field.
- Expert with comprehensive knowledge in community engagement strategies.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful community relations strategies.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Effective project management skills to manage multiple priorities
- Robust communication, influencing and project management skills

- Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Masters degree in Communications, Public Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Passion for community engagement and making a positive impact.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
