Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Program Mission Assurance Manager 2. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and provide support to our Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD-Sentinel) Team.

What You’ll Get To Do:   

  • Support MA functions to ensure mission success.

  • Technical reviews of all Sentinel drawings, SOW’s, Requirements documents as required.

  • Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of Sentinel achievements.

  • Assesses Sentinel performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.

  • Assist the Program Managers (PM) with all Sentinel Mission Assurance /Program Management requirements.

  • Develop, implement and maintain the Sentinel Program Quality Plans.

  • Assign program tasks to the functional area MA & PQE’s.  Lead and facilitate Sentinel program FRBs ensuring identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions and reach back and reach across.

  • Lead in preparation and execution on of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB). Develop and maintain Sentinel Program Metrics.

  • Preparation of the Program Management Program Review packages.

  • Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests.

  • Support IPT MA & QE in Conditional Acceptance requirements and flow down. Monitor timely closure of Conditionally Accepted hardware and work corrective actions with IPT MA & QEs .

  • Provide guidance and expertise to supporting professionals of MA & QA engineers.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.   

You’ll Bring These Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree and at least 6 years of experience in technical or engineering positions (Quality or Mission Assurance preferred). Master’s degree and 4 years of experience.

  • At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret Security clearance

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program Clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: 

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Experience in PR/MRB for DoD contracts

  • Experience with RCCA on technical issues

  • Experience with supervising or executing quality controls over production or subcontractors

  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment, managing multiple engineers and working with other functions

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously

  • Experience in System Engineering.

  • Experience in ICBMs or Aerospace programs

Salary Range: $119,300 - $178,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
