We are seeking an experienced Senior Repair Station Manager to lead our Repair Station operations. This key role will oversee a large team of skilled Manufacturing Operations professionals and leaders, driving the overall performance of our repair operations. The Senior Repair Station Manager will establish long-term objectives and foster a culture of customer focus, accountability, and continuous improvement. What You Will Do:

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the Repair Station, including operations, engineering, planning, quality, and EHS functions.

  • Production Management: Guide production processes, including shop floor management, workforce optimization, and flow disruption management, ensuring effective maintenance and scheduling.

  • Team Development: Provide coaching and development to the leadership team and direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Safety Culture: Prioritize and champion a strong safety culture throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on key site metrics, taking action to address any gaps to established goals.

  • Quality Assurance: Manage corrective actions related to quality and compliance, ensuring adherence to established quality standards.

  • Cost Reduction & Process Improvement: Lead initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving operational efficiency.

  • Scheduling & Efficiency: Oversee the scheduling team to optimize shop efficiency, work-in-progress (WIP) management, and inventory reduction.

  • Resource Optimization: Manage work sequencing and delivery processes to maximize resource utilization.

  • Material & Logistics Management: Address materials and logistics challenges to ensure smooth operations and availability of necessary resources.

  • Customer Engagement: Partner with customers to understand their needs and ensure expectations are consistently met.

  • Innovation Promotion: Encourage production innovation, including the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies.

  • Data Utilization: Leverage digital tools for real-time data analysis to inform decision-making and drive daily operational needs.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace and/or repair station operations.

  • Background in Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence methodologies.

  • Prior operations management or site leadership experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with inventory practices, production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing techniques.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
