ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
The Entrepreneurial Innovation Manager plays a pivotal role in driving innovation within the commercial aviation technology sector. This position combines the dynamic roles of an innovative business developer and product manager with an entrepreneurial mindset. The candidate will engage directly with customers, including airlines and airports, to identify opportunities for co-innovation and develop solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business value.
This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by collaborating with some of the leading companies in the aviation sector. The successful candidate will contribute to shaping the future of commercial aviation technology through proactive innovation and customer-driven solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Co-Innovation Initiatives
Collaborate with airlines and airports to identify pain points and gather insights that lead to meaningful innovations.
- Lead Product Development:
Work close to customers and engineers to define what products to build. Be a hands-on leader ensuring alignment with customer needs and spanet trends.
- Market Research
Conduct research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements, translating findings into actionable strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to drive initiatives forward.
- Technology Advocacy
Encourage the adoption of innovative technologies and practices within the organization to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
Experience in innovation management, product management, business development, or consulting, preferably within technology-driven environments.
Proven experience engaging with customers and translating complex needs into successful products, services, or initiatives.
Strong background in managing multiple workstreams and driving collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery models.
Familiarity with UX principles that improve usability and customer satisfaction.
Solid understanding of business strategy, customer development, and factors driving startup and new-venture success.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, adaptable, and innovation-driven mindset.

Experience in consulting, strategy, or business transformation roles.
