Job Description
Review events and create potential actions to reduce safetyhazards and business continuity impacts.
Ensure Day of Ops +1 week up to Day of Ops +4 weeks arecorrectly assigned and allocated in AIMS.
Create and deliver briefings to the Operations Duty Managerregarding planning actions and likely Day of Ops actions required.
Liaise with Scheduling, Rostering, and Engineering Technical Planning regarding the future programme, including:
Multisector crew pairings
Base training
Base/planned maintenance
Aircraft deregistration/re-registration
Route requirements (e.g., due taxation, passenger preference)
Review and create assessments for NMC-level impact of events, e.g., impact of airport disruption served by 2+ Group Airlines.
Use SSM updates and Operating Plan revisions to check andassign changed/additional flights in AIMS.
Liaise with Scheduling regarding programme integrity, ensuring regular SSIM checks.
Create and maintain ad-hoc briefs for charter services andensure delivery to operations where possible at -24hrs to departure.
Review the programme and learnings from the previous season to identify necessary adjustments or alerts.
Generate and complete a New Station Checklist for any new route launch.
Make recommendations to improve the efficiency of aircraft allocation and planning.
Assist with new aircraft delivery planning and preparation.
Lead bi-weekly Ops Heuristic meetings with Guest Services, Scheduling, Naviga, Engineering, Operations Analysis, and Ramp.
Engage Operations Analysis to assess pairing/city pair or flight number impacts on OTP, operational resilience, and customer experience.
Problem-solve as required.
At least 5 years complex Operations or Network Management experience
Diploma as a minimum
Familiarity with crew, schedule and engineering limitations and impacts
Ideally Green Belt / Lean process trained
Proficient in oral and written English
Proficient in Microsoft and Google software. Familiarity with AIMS added advantage.
