The person in this role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, who is responsible for network, revenue management, and alliances. They are therefore one of the key contributors and guarantors of the implementation of Transat’s strategic plan, supporting the company’s maturity and excellence.
The teams led by the Senior Director are at the heart of the group’s financial performance. They are responsible for pricing and customer segmentation to optimize revenues from air tickets and all‑inclusive packages, generating more than $3 billion annually.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the revenue management teams, including:
- Pricing
- Inventory
- Ancillary Revenues
- Contribute to the group’s strategic vision and translate it into operational direction for their teams. Continuously evolve the team structure and skill set to ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
- Ensure that business processes within the teams are efficient and support maximizing unit revenue (RASM).
- Regularly present results, challenges, and key projects to Senior Leadership.
- Ensure the selection, integration, and effective use of AI‑powered revenue management tools, along with the continuous optimization of practices.
- Collaborate effectively with all revenue‑influencing departments, demonstrating strong leadership—particularly with flight and package commercialization, marketing, land product (all‑inclusive packages), e‑commerce, IT, and finance teams.
- Revenue Management & Pricing
- Define the revenue management and pricing strategy aligned with the group’s strategic and financial objectives, as well as the competitive landscape.
- Monitor overall revenue performance and ensure the implementation of corrective actions when necessary.
- Take the necessary measures to respond to market conditions and ensure the achievement or improvement of revenue targets through appropriate strategies. Provide guidance on all factors affecting company revenue (pricing, capacity, routes, air‑only vs. package balance, etc.).
*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
