What are your contributions to the team?
- Coordinate, in conjunction with sales, the overall strategy for bid response; including identifying winning conditions
- Prepare technical presentations for customers showcasing Bombardier aircraft and Bombardier Defense capabilities
- Manage projects specific to the creation of written customer deliverables such as proposals in response to RFPs, RFI responses
- Sources sought notices, and white papers in support of aircraft sales, modification programs and/or engineering services or support activities
- Prepare, support and organize customer meetings and/or visits
- Plan meetings or technical reviews with internal stakeholders and customer prior to submittal of final proposal
- Plan the path to final proposal schedule to meet required timelines
- Manage internal and/or external resources and stakeholders such as engineering, contracts, finance, procurement or subcontractors during the proposal stage to establish program strategy and build proposals
- Plan overall initial program framework, budget and schedule
- Develop and/or manage documentation such as PWS, SOW and TSOR relating to aircraft modification and/or special mission engineering services
- Prepare management reviews and obtain management approvals through established processes and Bombardier policies
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You hold a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in engineering or technical program management at Bombardier Aerospace, and/or equivalent engineering activities related to Bombardier aircraft
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in proposal and/or project management
- You have prior experience in US Government procurement processes and FAR/DFAR regulations
- You are a team player with initiative and excellent communication skills
- You have excellent customer-facing skills and experience are required
- You have the ability to effectively negotiate in-line with business objectives
- You are able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively while working toward aggressive deadlines
- You have a strong technical knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems and special mission equipment
- You have knowledge of ITAR and previous experience in government contracting exposure would be considered an asset
- You may be required to travel and work extended hours when required
