How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Project Manager, Crew Technology is responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of Technology Project changes for Crew Resources, Scheduling, Tracking, Admin and ALPA. The position reports to the Manager of Crew Technology Ops and Reliability in the Crew Technology organization. Key partnerships with IT, IFS, FOP, Finance, and the OCC to enable operational efficiency and reliability through the modernization of Crew Technology tools. This effort includes the overhaul of foundational crew systems to enable the next generation of Crew applications with a keen focus but not limited to contract changes and operational impacted defect fixes.ResponsibilitiesAct as Project Manager of agile development teams that are focused on modernizing Crew applicationsDevelop and manage strategic roadmaps and tactical plans for crew technology systems that balances business value, timing needs, funding, and development complexityLead Officer level monthly Steering Committee to review initiative progress, accomplishments and constraintsProactively manage multiple workstreams with IT product owners and business leadsUnderstand the business vision of the platform and translate the vision into an end-user experience and technical requirements for IT to execute uponOwn all aspects of the product development process, including understating the needs of the business, requirements definition, development oversight, user testing, implementation readiness, and trainingEnsure Crew Resources department and cross-divisional (IFS, FOP, OCC, and IT) coordination and prioritization of priorities, resources, and deliverablesManage capital planning in coordination with IT and FinanceTranslate and communicate complex processes to multiple business layers across Crew teamsEffectively communicate, cross divisionally and to senior leaders, product roadmaps, priorities, and objectivesPromote safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, Technology or equivalent work experience in airline operations requiredExhibits curiosity, learns quickly, and thinks creatively to help identify solutionsMinimum 4-5 years relevant work experience Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and workstreams at onceStrong communication skills with the ability to produce and deliver logical, concise, relevant, strategic documents and executive presentations Ability to translate a business vision into written technical requirements Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environmentMust be open to feedback from, and prioritize the needs of, a diverse set of stakeholdersMust demonstrate the ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels in the organizationMust have the flexibility to perform periodic after-hours and weekend workMust be performing satisfactorily in current positionConsistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
