Position Summary
The Project Manager Heavy Maintenance Reliability monitors, tracks, and develops actions plans for aircraft reliability issues post heavy maintenance release. The Project Manager interfaces with Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul (MRO) local leadership, JetBlue engineering, planning, and quality assurance to ensure in-service reliability concerns are addressed and corrected during check. Reporting to the Tech Ops Senior Manager Heavy Maintenance, the Project Manager will be driving the successful execution of the post heavy maintenance reliability as it is produced.
Essential Responsibilities
- Collects data from maintenance and engineering systems and performs statistical analysis to monitor and evaluate the operational and technical performance of aircraft post heavy maintenance
- Analyzes technical data from aircraft maintenance log and aircraft service records to determine cause and failure trends
- Monitors delays, pilot write-ups and other technical interruptions and evaluates data for trends
- Produces weekly and monthly reliability reports and provides on-demand technical reports to Technical Operations management as needed to evaluate aircraft and powerplant
- Analyzes heavy maintenance data to determine cause of failures, makes recommendations for maintenance program adjustments and implements maintenance program escalations
- Define project team, establish resource allocation with managers from each discipline, facilitate product purchasing, and establish success criteria
- Schedule and coordinate tasks for deliverables, resources, and projects
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external business partners and internal subject matter experts to produce quality deliverables
- Coordinate business case development and submissions
