Job Summary

The Operations and Growth Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal performance, and driving cost efficiencies. This role also supports the organizations strategic goals related to growth, quality, and safety standards. As a key leader, you will foster a KPI-driven culture, guide transformation initiatives, and work closely with customers and partners to enhance Swissport Morocco’s value proposition.

Your activities

Day-to-Day Operations

• Oversee, monitor, and evaluate operational performance to ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance with Swissport’s global standards.
• Lead and support the organization’s goals on growth and revenue targets.
• Drive standardization and a KPI-driven culture to optimize efficiencies and control costs.
• Monitor and oversee quality and safety procedures, ensuring adherence to Swissport’s International Safety and Quality Standards.
• Ensure resource optimization, including workforce and equipment, to meet operational demands effectively.

Strategic Growth Initiatives

• Drive efficiency and cost management through projects such as Swissport Values, Productivity Improvement Initiatives, Performance Management, and Process Re-engineering.
• Support the implementation of new technologies to achieve cost reductions through automation.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

Team Leadership

• Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team with operational responsibilities, fostering a high-performing culture.
• Drive and implement transformation projects within the department to increase organizational effectiveness and cost efficiencies.

Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE)

• Support the implementation of the Safety Management System and Quality System in accordance with ISO Standards.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with QHSE standards, promptly reporting non-compliance events.
• Promote a safety-first culture and continuous improvement in safety practices across operations.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in operational management, ideally in the aviation industry.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and leading transformation projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and operational performance tools.
• Meticulously organized, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French; additional languages are advantageous.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Resilience under pressure and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
