Lead the Batavia site consistent with FLIGHT DECK fundamentals, following individual leader standard work, and meet day-to-day short-term objectives.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with technicians, support staff, contractors, customers, and suppliers.
Plan the future state tooling and support equipment needs of the OWS network, working with capacity and capability forecasts, technical experts, and OWS sites to consolidate global planning and request approvals.
Work with sourcing, finance, and others to progress approval requests related to tooling and equipment through internal investment review, quote and selection, ordering and delivery management, and asset receipt processes.
Manage Batavia inventory and support individual sites with managing inventory of assets throughout the network, including inventory positioning/allocation, cycle counts, audits, inspection, calibration, load test, maintenance/repair/upgrade requirements, and compliance with all applicable Safety, Quality, ITC, DG & Legal/Contractual requirements.
Deploy tooling/equipment to global field locations in support of customers at their own or at third-party locations, aligning with other OWS field deployments as needed.
Manage the Tooling Loan and Lease Program requests received from customers and/or partners within the industry.
Maintain tool-room workshop capability, supporting global OWS sites with rapid-prototyping, jig manufacturing, foam routing, 3D-printing, and similar services.
Maintain relationships and agreements with tooling and equipment suppliers, ensuring coverage to support operational needs now and in the future.
Lead the team to develop a culture of continual improvement, customer focus, and respect for people, utilizing the FLIGHT DECK system and deploying its fundamentals throughout the organization.
Demonstrate strong program management experience, including the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment, working with all sites to ensure the success of our shops and support for the customer.
Have an awareness of complicated shipping requirements, particularly for international locations, to ensure smooth operations.
Utilize flight deck to drive continuous improvement, impact key business KPI’s and advance the problem solving culture within the BAT site and across the global tooling footprint.
Warehouse site leadership experience desired.
Strong program management experience.
Awareness of international shipping requirements and regulations.
Experience in using GPS / QR code or other IT technology to track equipment across global sites.
Proven experience leading initiatives of large scope and impact.
Demonstrated quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction skills.
Ability to raise awareness and perform root cause analysis and corrective action to quality events involving tooling use and/or damage during shipment.
Possess working knowledge of ITC regulations and IncoTerms.
Knowledge of LEAN principles with regard to 5S techniques and visual management.

Strong team player with a hands-on approach to manufacturing troubleshooting.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
