Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the NASAMS Launcher Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead within the Short and Medium Ground Based Air Defense (SMGBAD) System team, who fulfills cradle to grave responsibilities for delivering the world’s most advanced air and missile defense systems globally. You will report to the MRAD Senior Director and will regularly interact with Program Managers on strategy, production, proposals and batting order status. You will be responsible for overseeing the on-time delivery and favorable cost performance of the NASAMS Launcher product execution across multiple NASAMS programs.
You will also be responsible for all NASAMS Launcher execution and proposal efforts and will have accountability for leading and managing the position’s scope successfully, which includes responsibility for coordination with the programs and delivery through technical, schedule, and cost performance.
What You Will Do
- Prepare briefings for internal and external program status reviews, monthly progress report, and internal weekly and monthly leadership updates
- Develop partnerships with design engineering, specialty engineering, test engineering, EX/IM, contracts, finance, global supply chain, quality, and operations.
- Lead a multi-disciplined team to include the Product Line, Cross-Product Teams (CPT), and Subcontractors/IOTs in the execution and growth of the NASAMS Launcher products
- Develop and execute strategies to efficiently complete the existing programs and growth strategies by managing batting order for NASAMS Launcher products across programs
- Meet contractual commitments including the financial, quality, cost efficiency, technical and schedule performance using the approved business model and management tools including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), PRISM, SAP/APEX for the NASAMS systems and components
- Knowledge of licensing requirements within the Department of Commerce and Department of State regulations
- Expected to travel domestically and internationally as required
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 10 years of experience is required
- Experience in IPT leadership or program management
- Experience in Program Risk & Opportunity Management
- Experience in leading a cross-functional team
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Program Management Level 4 Certification
- 5+ years of Program Management/IPT Leadership experience
- Experience in production environment for entire Product Life Cycle from material release through contract sale
- Direct experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking (EVMS) to cost and schedule
- Experience with and understanding of export and import controls, compliance and licensing

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
