Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Associate Manager (Level 4) in Fort Worth, TX, to lead manufacturing operations for the JSF Production Assembly area. In this role, you will oversee manufacturing activities, manage a represented workforce, and drive operational excellence in quality, schedule, and cost. This position requires a leader who can ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Lead Manufacturing Operations – Manage daily manufacturing activities and workforce assignments to ensure production goals are met.
Oversee Structural Assembly Execution – Implement build plans, drive schedule adherence, and proactively identify process improvements.
Ensure Compliance & Quality Standards – Maintain accurate aircraft records, ensure certification of employees, and enforce Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention protocols.
Foster a Safe & Efficient Work Environment – Identify and address safety concerns, ensuring adherence to all core and program-specific processes.
Drive Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement process enhancements, leveraging lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Develop Talent & Workforce Capability – Assess skill gaps, support employee training, and collaborate with Labor Relations & Human Resources to enhance team engagement.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Aircraft Maintenance or Aerospace manufacturing &/or productions methodologies in a professional environment.
• Experience in managing a team using tools, &/or systems typically used in a production &/or manufacturing environment.
• Experience business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality)
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel.
• Understanding of business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality).
• Greenbelt certified.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including, PDM, MRP, SFM, and EWI.
• Previous development experience.
• Working knowledge of Crew Plans.
• Experience forecasting manpower.
• Excellent communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
