Job Description:

Purpose:

Citadel Completions, LLC. is looking for dynamic Material Program Manager to join our team of dedicated and exceptional professionals and whose knowledge skills, abilities and experience can contribute toward meeting and beating our goals and objectives. This role is responsible for working closely with operations to ensure all aircraft related parts, equipment, and supplies from or Warehouse to our Production Teams; and ensuring that the Buyers have all needed parts ordered and tracking. Departmental requirements associated with the Company’s overall aircraft operations must be met in an efficient and timely manner. This entails surveillance of all open orders, expediting existing orders and coordinating logistics to meet immediate and future requirements.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Liaison between the Production, Buyers and Warehouse.
  • Runs Material Shortage Report; Communicates with Project Managers (PMs) to confirm needs; verifies material is in Warehouse; ensures future material/supplies needs have been ordered & tracking through the Buyer(s) ensuring timely receipt.
  • Expedites aircraft related parts, equipment and supplies to meet operational demands for quick order fulfillment.
  • Accountable to perform job duties to a high level of accuracy and to meet deadlines.
  • Monitors Aviation Management software and coordinates with Buyers personnel to ensure optimum order fulfillment to meet operational needs 
  • Coordinates with Buyers to ensure supplier and delivery commitments are met through continuous follow up regarding order status, vendor performance, and that any issues are being resolved.
  • Effectively communicate with various departments/internal customers in Production Managers, Buyers and Warehouse.
  • Must be able to multitask multiple priorities, prioritize tasks and demonstrate flexibility, as well as display a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
  • Must maintain full compliance with company policies, procedures and work instructions for all FAA regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records/notes to include all pertinent information for requests, purchases, and interactions with PMs, Buyers and Warehouse.
  • Follows company policies, procedures, work instructions and standard operating procedures as well as assist to develop/maintain/update said items on a regular and routine basis.
  • Support and promote safety, security, and quality as a fundamental function of the overall responsibility.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree or higher is a plus.
  • 4 years Parts Expeditor experience.
  • Must pass forklift certification.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
 Preferred Qualifications or Experience:
  • Experience in an MRO, Part 145 environment.
  • 2+ years of previous aviation parts experience.
  • Aviation Maintenance experience.
  • Purchasing and warehouse experience.
  • Program management experience 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Attributes:
  • Successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-directed, proactive individual who works effectively under pressure and time constraints with the ability to multi-task and work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Corridor, Aviation Management Software a plus.
  • Must have medium to advance knowledge of MS Project, Windows and other MS Office programs. 
  • Knowledge and functional experience with industry specific tools, materials, supplies, Aircraft maintenance Manuals and Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Service Bulletins, and technical information
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to obtain a high level of familiarity quickly.
  • Ability to work holidays, nights, and weekends.
