JOB OVERVIEW

• As the Marketing Manager for Greater China, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the spaneting strategy for the region. This includes creating region-specific campaigns and also adapting global spaneting initiatives from our central spaneting team in London to align with local spanet specificities and preferences.
• You will be working with the local sales teams to identify target audiences and objectives that could be supported with local spaneting.
• You will be part of the international spaneting team and will work closely with the spaneting channel specialists based in London.

Job Description

• Day-to-day spaneting – Manage and execute the spaneting activities of our offices in Greater China – currently Hong-Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
• Regional Strategy – Develop and tailor spaneting strategies specific to the Chinese spanet(s), ensuring the localisation of channels, content, and campaigns for optimal engagement.
• Social Media – Coordinate, localise and post content to our Chinese social media channels: mainly WeChat & Red and manage external agencies if necessary.
• Email spaneting – Send mass email campaigns for a range of products and services, to our database, using SalesForce to create audiences, build emails, and schedule campaigns.
• Digital spaneting – assist the Performance team with web advertising, including Baidu, display ads, re-spaneting, and analytics.
• Print & Promotional spaneting – Manage the production and stock of local prints, promo items and clients gifts.
• Exhibitions and events – Research relevant events in Mainland China and assist the Head of Events to organise.
• Report local spaneting activity to London
• Budget and manage the local spaneting spend
• Research and source local suppliers when necessary.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Marketing Degree or professional diploma
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a Marketing role in Mainland China and Hong Kong, B2B and B2C, with a broad set of spaneting channel experiences
• Understanding and Experience in managing Chinese social media channels, WeChat, Red, etc.
• High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience in spaneting content localisation
• Experience in planning, writing and executing Email campaigns, using an Email Service Provider
• Experienced in the segmentation of customer data lists
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, and also within a team, using common sense and initiative.

Preferable Qualifications:

• Experience working alongside sales teams
• Experience working within international B2B & B2C companies
• Experience working within the aviation, travel, or luxury sector
• Experience in SalesForce – Email spaneting platform
