Manufacturing Planner Supervisor

Description:You will be the Manufacturing Planner Supervisor for the Production Planning and Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for production planning and managing the daily production activities to meet customer requirements.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing 1-5 direct reports of PP&C planners. Responsible for employee performance assessments, work assignments, salary and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible in assisting of recruitment, selection and training of new employees.
Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with Manufacturing and Operations Management to provide status on procured parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, and expedites or develops workaround plans to preserve schedule.
Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes to ensure economic order quantity policies are being met.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Past experience with Manufacturing and and/or Make Planning experience
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
• Possess working knowledge of lean manufacturing
• Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• SAP ERP experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
• Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.
• Experience with material requirements
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
