We are seeking an experienced and driven Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations within a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering operational excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting the long-term strategic development of manufacturing processes.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain, the Manufacturing Manager will ensure production performance, compliance with aerospace standards, and alignment with the organisation’s long-term operational goals.

Manufacturing Operations

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved.

• Manage production teams and supervisors to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes.

• Ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory and quality standards.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost performance.

• Identify opportunities for process optimisation, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.

• Promote a culture of lean manufacturing and operational excellence.

Strategic Planning

• Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s long-term manufacturing strategy.

• Support capital investment planning, equipment upgrades, and technology adoption to improve capability and capacity.

• Monitor industry trends and best practices within aerospace manufacturing.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Participate in weekly operational meetings with Quality and Operations teams to review production performance, quality metrics, and improvement actions.

• Liaise closely with Quality to ensure product compliance and address any manufacturing-related quality issues.

• Work collaboratively with engineering and supply chain teams to support new product introduction and process improvements.

Performance & Leadership

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, safety, and delivery.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for manufacturing personnel.

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies across manufacturing operations.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing management role within aerospace or precision engineering.

• Strong understanding of aerospace quality and regulatory standards.

• Experience implementing continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational performance.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Experience in production planning, resource management, and performance monitoring.
