NOW HIRING! Manager, Brand and Communications
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Brand and Communications to lead brand and communications for Harbour Air and drive the strategic development, planning, and execution of comprehensive spaneting and brand initiatives. This role will own the end-to-end brand and communication GTM strategy planning, corporate spaneting, and content calendar development while providing leadership and guidance to the spaneting team.

LOCATION: Head Office - Downtown Vancouver (Hybrid Option)
TERM: Full Time Regular (Permanent)

Responsibilities and Expectations
- Develop, refine, and protect the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistent application across all touchpoints
- Lead brand campaign development and deployment including strategy and creative direction for digital and traditional advertising including out-of-home advertising (billboards, transit media, and other OOH placements)
- Oversee development of all key campaigns, creative assets and compliance with brand guidelines, personally while delegating day-to-day content development to direct reports and agencies
- Own Harbour Air terminal branding strategy, including signage, way finding across all physical touch points. Collaborate across the bases for standardized and uniform implementation
- Build and grow owned brand channels across social platforms
- Develop brand messaging and creative asset pool for the Harbour corporate program to support sales team acquisition efforts, with campaign deployment
- Create and deliver proactive communications strategies along with external agencies to promote company news, initiatives, and thought leadership
- Draft press releases, media statements, speeches, and executive messaging
- Act as the primary liaison with media outlets & DMOs, building strong relationships with journalist, DMO’s and handling inquiries
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, preparing reports and insights for leadership
- Develop and maintain crisis communication protocols
- Oversee development of all content for digital channels, and social media
- Partner with a broader spaneting team to plan commercial campaigns and ensure alignment with brand positioning
- Define and design brand and tactical messaging framework to support teams in implementing CRM driven campaigns and asset deployment
- Own and track all brand and communications spaneting expenditure, ensuring timely budget reporting and analysis
- Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives with Chambers of Commerce, Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), and tourism partners
- Own, develop and manage collaborative spaneting programs to drive mutual goals
- Own and build strategy for all partnerships, sponsorships and CSR initiatives that align with brand and corporate values
- Serve as single point of accountability for brand and communications agencies, including strategy development, briefing, performance oversight, and quality control
- Lead and mentor a small team of communications and spaneting professionals
- Set clear goals and KPIs, providing regular feedback and coaching to support development
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture with a focus on creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
