JOB SUMMARY

  • Works closely with Area Maintenance Managers and Maintenance Planning Manager with scheduling of aircraft maintenance to be performed at the Regional Materials and Maintenance Centers. Responsible for aircraft maintenance while in for maintenance.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining estimated dates of aircraft entering and exiting the Maintenance Centers.
  • Responsible for working with the Maintenance Manager and Managing Leads to have the materials/tools on site prior to aircraft entering the Maintenance Center.
  • Accomplishes periodic audits of Maintenance Centers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for leading the Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) Team and providing managerial oversight as well as effective guidance.
  • Provides continuous improvement and enhancement to the MOC Team and ensures effective interaction with maintenance in the field.
  • Provides maintenance guidance in analyzing and appraising the effectiveness of Aircraft Maintenance program.
  • Creates a positive work environment while supporting the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization through effective management, creative and innovative solutions to the work environment and work situations.
  • Ensures positive employee relations and trust through communication, education, consistency, and dependability.
  • Assist in oversight for maintenance support departments. .
  • Develop and prepare Key Performance Indicator reports.
  • Monitor and maintain frequently used parts and supplies used for Maintenance Center to remain efficient and effective.
  • Drafts and recommends changes to Maintenance Policies and Inspection Program.
  • Periodically assist with mechanic hiring.
  • Based on KPI information, develop recommendations for aircraft availability improvements.
  • Assist with Special Projects when needed.
  • Performs other duties as requested

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 10+ year's aircraft maintenance experience, 5+ year's maintenance leadership experience.
  • Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Systems / Software proficient in Microsoft products, excel, word, outlook, etc.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and respect; working with others in a collaborative and solutions focused manner to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Ability to recognize and generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they arise.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act
